Taking you back to 2013, when it all began—here’s a peek inside the story behind Isprava and its beginnings

The idea was to do something different. And Isprava did just that. It broke from the clutter, defied convention, embraced the unique and created a brand that inspires. The company—which offers oneof-a-kind holiday homes for buyout or rent, was launched in 2013 by founder and CEO Nibhrant Shah. Having already 3 ventures under his belt, Nibhrant, once a Wall Street investment banker, took on this ambitious project with the aim to not only build the most beautiful holiday homes, but also to simplify the process, break the barriers and make buying, owning and renting out holiday homes an effortless experience. The concept behind Isprava came to fore, when Nibhrant himself was in search of an escape—a home away from home. He went to Goa to try to find it. While he loved the juxtapositions of the destination—from the 16th century history against vibrant neighbourhoods to the calm beaches against crowded shacks and the energetic parties against tranquil hideaways, he realised it wasn’t the easiest destination to find a dream home to own. Marred by gated communities, complicated paperwork, lax regulations, it felt like an ordeal. What’s more, the homes lacked a feeling of authenticity and exclusivity. Thus came to life Isprava, which means strength in Croatian.

Fun fact: The logo exemplifies the brand’s name by highlighting pillars which symbolise strength and support.
