Monforte Villa E

The cobblestoned path that connects each independent villa to the other in this gated complex leads up to a two-storey home that perches as pretty as a picture on ~500 sqm of land. Open the door, however, and the restrained Mediterranean-style architecture is offset by dramatic monotones within. A bright yellow kitchen, blue and pink smaller bedrooms and a bold choice of red for the master—the burst of colour across the spectrum is a sharp contrast to the largely black-and-white herringbone flooring. The exception is the colourful cement tiles in the smaller bedrooms. Villa E is decidedly chic but with an unmistakable Goan-Portuguese element.
