Isprava – In the News

1. OUR NEW HOME

New Year. New Beginnings. As a start to the new financial year, we have moved to a new central location in the heart of Mumbai. Our Founder, Nibhrant Shah says “We are thrilled about the launch of our new office. We spend the better part of the day at office hence it was important to create a home away from home. This office offers high ceilings, beautiful bay windows, the luxury of space, recreational areas, large conference centers and intimate meeting rooms befitting of brand Isprava”.

2. SUMMER TIME IS GOA TIME

Sandy beaches, a whiff of revelry and a holiday of the senses, Goa is perfect for every merry-maker. For thrill-seekers and solitude-searchers alike, there’s so much going on in Goa all the time that it’s just the kind of place to be in during summer.

Nature

There’s an abundance of nature in Goa that lures eco-conscious visitors. Cycling tours and bird watching tours at the Wildernest Nature Resort and at Dr Salim Ali Birds Sanctuary make you one with nature.

History

Goa is a treasure trove of architectural marvels belonging to the Kadamba dynasty, the Mughal empire and the Portuguese era. Churches and chapels such as Basilica of Bom Jesus, Se Cathedral and St Augustine Tower, and temples like the Shree Shantadurga Temple and Shree Maguesh Devasthan, are great places to find your peace while soaking in the wonders of architecture around. From walking the streets of Portuguese-styled nostalgia, to climbing forts Aguada and Chapora, postcard-perfect Goa breathes life into its various structures.

Riverside

A lot has been written about the beaches of Goa. From being great places to find the perfect tan, to quiet havens of peace and calm, from being party destinations to a foodie’s paradise, some of the best Goan action happens on the beach. Let’s not forget how wonderful a cruise down Mandovi River can be. With live music and on a roof top boat that cruises along the river, Goan style buildings are illuminated on the coastline making the sunset a rather radiant one. The River is also famous for the casino boats and what can be better than some fun gambling on a holiday?

Adventure

Soak in some high adrenaline activities like rappelling, rope climbing, cliff/rock climbing, kayaking and even scuba diving, and have the time of your life!

3. BEAT THE HEAT IN THE NILGIRIS

The hills are alive with the sound of summer. Escape into the rich Nilgiris and leave behind the scorching heat of your city life. From partaking in tea plantation tours, staying in valley-facing accommodation, enjoying a good hot chocolate at a roadside eatery, the Nilgiris are as fun as they’re lazy. While the pristine roads of the Nilgiris can be long-winding, the trip is made even more memorable on the Nilgiris Mountain Rail. Popularly called the toy train, this rickety-rackety mode of transport remains a major tourist attraction in the western belt traversing uphill from Mettupalayam to Ooty. Another major draw to the Nilgiris, apart from piping hot bhajiyas and wondrously cool climes is the Summer Festival, Nilgiri. Various cultural events take place in the fair, including dog shows, flower shows, fruit shows, spice shows, and boat races. Other competitions include painting and photo exhibitions, and vintage car rallies. Not chilly in weather but delightfully pleasant with the perfect nip in the air, Nilgiris are the best places to be at during summer.
